Charles N. Lafferty, Attorney at Law
Charles N. Lafferty has practiced law for over 33 years, assisting clients in resolving important personal, family and business matters, and provided quality representation in the Courts of Ohio, Pennsylvania and U.S. District Courts. A member of the Ohio and Pennsylvania bars, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.
A lifelong resident of Conneaut, Ohio, with a lifetime commitment to the area, he graduated from Conneaut High School in 1969, Baldwin-Wallace College in 1973, and the Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1976.
He serves as Special Counsel to the Office of the Ohio Attorney General, serving Ohio in collections enforcement and revenue recovery. In addition to serving on the Boards of the following organizations, he is the President of the Ashtabula County Public Defender Corporation, President of the Ashtabula County Children Services Board, President and Executive Director of the George J. Record School Foundation, and Vice President of the Conneaut Telephone Company. He has a long history of service to civic and charitable organizations. He is also a former Conneaut Councilman.

Shara H. Parkomaki, Paralegal, Office Manager
Shara has been a Paralegal with Lafferty Law Office since 1997. Originally from Conneaut, Shara graduated from Conneaut High School. She is also a graduate of the University of Toledo with an Associate of Applied Business in Legal Assisting Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She became an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Paralegal in 2008. Shara has over 18 years of experience in the legal field, having worked in the areas of probate, estates, guardianships, collections, real estate, municipal law, domestic relations and other practice areas of the law.
She has completed numerous continuing legal education seminars. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Bar Association, the National Association of Legal Assistants, and the Cleveland Association of Paralegals.
Shara is the Office Manager and manages the day to day operations of the law firm, in addition to providing paralegal services.
In her spare time she enjoys running and recently completed her first half marathon. She looks forward to assisting with meeting your legal representation needs. Bonnie Todd, Paralegal
Bonnie has been employed as a Paralegal at Lafferty Law Office since 2005. Previous to that she worked for 30 years in professional offices in Ashtabula County. Bonnie has many years of experience working with probate matters including estates, guardianships and estate planning. Bonnie enjoys working with families and elderly clients. In July of 2008, Bonnie became a Certified Paralegal through the Ohio State Bar Association. She continues to attend various continuing legal education courses to keep her skills current. Bonnie conducts herself as a true professional.
Bonnie graduated from Edgewood High School in Ashtabula Township, Ohio. She has lived in the North Kingsville/Conneaut area her entire life. She enjoys watching the beautiful sunsets on Lake Erie, spending time with her family, making quilts, attending craft shows and watching sports, especially basketball and football.
